Kristen McCorkle-Smith earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Central Missouri and has been a licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist for 10 years. She is passionate about helping people improve their hearing and quality of life through personalized hearing care and the latest hearing aid technology.

Before joining American Hearing and Audiology, Kristen spent more than three years serving patients at the Cabela’s/Bass Pro Hearing Center, where she built a strong foundation in hearing healthcare. Today, she is committed to providing individualized solutions that help each patient hear their best.

Kristen believes every patient should be treated like family. She takes the time to listen, understand each person’s unique hearing needs, and recommend solutions that fit their lifestyle. Her goal is to make every patient feel comfortable, confident, and supported throughout their hearing journey.

When she’s not in the office, Kristen enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, and the rest of her family. 

Dr. Linda Engelmann has been serving patients in the Kansas City area for over 30 years. She earned her Bachelor of Health Science from the University of Missouri, received her Masters in Audiology from Central Missouri University, and her Doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University. She has also served on the Missouri State Board of Examiners for Hearing Instrument Specialists, mostly as Chairman. This Board serves as a consumer protection board that oversees the licensure of future providers entering into the profession that Linda enjoys.

Linda began her career working for an ENT practice as an audiologist in Liberty. Following that, she then went into private practice in area Audiology clinics. She enjoys providing greater care in a private practice setting like American Hearing & Audiology. Linda is motivated to help her patients overcome their hearing challenges and provide resources to their families.

For fun, Linda enjoys playing with her 5 grandchildren. She is also a very passionate horseback rider.
